This app is very useful for amiibo collectors (duh..) and I use it to keep track of the rarities of my amiibo. I would recommend it any day.
Of the 4 amiibo collection apps on IOS that Ive tried, this one is the best looking, most feature-rich, and well thought out of them all.
The app design is extremely consistent throughout with high quality images for all the amiibo. Its got an owned and wishlist. There is a variety of sorting options, even by rarity. The app even tells you details about each amiibo like when it was released in the market.
In my opinion the best feature is a comprehensive list of compatible games for each amiibo. The app doesnt just tell you which games are compatible, but in what way the amiibo can be used.
This is definitely worth the .99 asking price. I would have paid more. Please keep this updated! Thanks for the amazing app!
Some bad moments
For being a paid app, I was expecting a lot more polish to the UI. For example, if you scroll down the list of Amiibos and find an one that you Have/Want, hitting back brings you back to the very top of the list. Due to this, compiling my collection is extremely time consuming and not even worth it. A great feature that *could* make this app worth it would be to add Local Inventory for each Amiibo, similar to what a non-IOS app is currently able to do. But as it stands now, this app is not useful and definitely not worth the price of admission. Typing out a list of your collection into the Notes app is not only cheaper than purchasing this app, but is also probably a better route to take than this app. Do not recommend.
If you are an amiibo collector I strongly suggest you get this app! It will show you how rare a certain amiibo is, and you can show what amiibos you have and want!
This is by far the best amiibo app available currently, but the issue is that it doesnt save your "have" and "want" list. After you exit the app the lists dont save. I hope that will get fixed soon. Other than that its a great app!
This is a good app. I like design of amiibos pictures and it tells me rarity. You can manage have/want without accident because you cant change it by just single tap. Its actually saves have/want in my case. Yet I found some points that can be improve. First, the second wave of amiibo outfits for Mario Kart 8 are not shown. Second, a Japanese version of R.O.B. is not on the list. Third, you cant change have/want for each amiibo from their lists. Fourth, I want it to be easy access to each amiibo instead of scrolling everything down. For exsample, make it able to separate each series of amiibos instead of only listing and sort everything by their release dates. Im hoping that these points will be improve at next or future updates.
Out of the few amiibo apps that are out there this one is by far the best put together! The design looks nice and its updated with all currently announced amiibos as of summer 15. Highly recommended.
I paid 1.99 (I think) for the Amiibo UGC app, when I could have only paid .99 for this 10x better amiibo app. The UI is a lot better the images are kept updated. All and all. This app is much better for half the price. ☺️
